Mitra Montazeri, Pharm.D., CAPT member, graduated from faculty of pharmacy, university of Toronto and worked as the intensive care units pharmacist at St. Michael's hospital in Toronto and St. Joseph's hospital in Hamilton. She later returned to school to complete her Doctorate of Pharmacy program, also from University of Toronto in 1995.

Mitra has been working in the medical departments of Dupont Pharma and Bristol Myers squibb pharmaceutical companies mainly focusing in the HIV and Hepatitis therapeutic areas.

She has a great deal of experience teaching physicians, interns, residents, nursing and pharmacy students on various topics on drug therapies.

She joined OPC in 2004 and is currently in supervision. She is moving to London England, but will continue to be an active member of OPC and will be attending residencies.
